A fine jacket, January 30, 2016
I cannot add much to Mike from Fayetteville's review of this product. I love the coat and it will serve me nicely. I did remove the large velcro shoulder patch on both shoulders as they are large and stiff. I just used a seam ripper and carefully removed them, as my use will be purely civilian. Anyhow I love the jacket... thank you for a fine product at a reasonable price.

Pros: Very nice jacket
Cons: What Mike said

Serious Field Coat, Good Price, November 7, 2015
I was favorably impressed with the overall quality of this jacket for the modest price. It is advertised as Mil Spec, and probably is. It seems well made despite its ROC manufacture. It's roomy, so definitely don't order up a size on this. The color is good, and the NYCO sateen is authentic. The zippers are plastic, like those on the ACU combat jackets, but I don't care as long as they work and hold up to normal use. (I've seen the brass zippers FUBAR, too.) The only small complaint I have with this coat is that the hook and loop closures for the cuffs could have been more generous. The pocket closures and storm flap incorporate metal snaps just like the older M-65 jackets. It comes with the button-in liner installed. I had to re-sew one of the buttons right away, but that is such a common problem with military clothing, new or used, I don't even consider it a defect. This is a serious field jacket, I believe, and I look forward to wearing it this winter. Time will tell, but I have confidence it will serve me well.

Pros: Sturdy, warm, good-looking
Cons: Could use more Velcro for the cuff closures
